LEARN TO SKATE

LEARN TO SKATE INFORMATION

Learn to Skate is a program for all ages to learn to basics of ice skating.  You can start skating at age 3 and older with the different levels that we offer!  Our next session will start on either Saturday August 17th 12:15-1:15 pm or Monday August 19th 6:00-7:00 pm. Details and class sign ups will be available shortly.  You can select to either come on Mondays or Saturdays for this session.  Along with your enrollment you will receive unlimited public skate access to come out and practice during our public skating sessions! This pass is only valid during time of enrollment and will expire at the end of the session. We will also be offering a family discount of 10%.

TOTS

Tots is a beginner class for children 3-6 years old.  No experience is required for this class, just a desire to try something new.  Rental skates are provided by the rink for classes, only thing you need to do is dress warm!

ADVANCED TOTS

If your child has passed the Tots class and is interested in learning further skills this is the class for you!

BASIC 1

Basic 1 is the beginner level for children aged 6/7 to 12 years old.  No experience is required as this course teaches the basics of how to skate.  Rental Skates are included for class sessions.

ADULTS

Adults skate too!  Our Adult class is designed just for those 13 and older who are starting out on skates.  Adults can matriculate through the skill progression levels of Learn to Skate, but we have them start in a class by themselves to learn the basics!  Classes this session are offered at 6:00 PM on Mondays.

BASIC 2 - Basic 6

Already participated in Skate School and moving on to a new level?  Click the link below to find the classes offered this session.   Currently our upper levels are offered on Mondays at 6:00 or 6:30 PM or Saturdays at 12:45 pm.

Aspire

Aspire is a 1-hour long class that is part of our Learn to skate programming.  This class will cover the elements from Pre-FreeSkate-FreeSkate 6 and beyond! This means, any skater that has passed Basic 6(including adults) will now register for Aspire

This restructuring will allow skaters to move thought the different aspects of their skating (Skating Skills, Jumps, and Spins) at their own pace without feeling held back by or waiting for testing to occur.

Each hour long session will be broken into 20 minute segments so that each section of skating is worked on weekly.
