Learn to Play 10 & up should have skating ability and have passed Basic 1 in hockey skates.
Our next session of Learn to Play is 6 classes and starts on Saturday July 12th. Full equipment is required. Full sets of youth equipment can be purchased at the rink for $275.00 plus tax.
The Kinder Hawks program is designed for 4-6 year old players that are coming out of the Snowplow Sam skating program. This program works on the basics of hockey and is designed with our younger players in mind. The basics of skating in full hockey gear, basic stick handling, passing, shooting, and controlled game play will be covered. Our next session of Kinder Hawks will begin August 23rd. FULL EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED. Full sets of youth equipment can be purchased at the rink for $275+tax.
Little Hawks is Learn to Play for players 7 and older prior to playing rec league hockey. Players should have skating ability and have passed Basic 1 in Hockey Skates. This program covers the basics of the game including puckhandling, passing, shooting, and controlled game play. Our next session of Little Hawks will begin August 23rd. FULL EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED. The initiative provides first-time participants (boys and girls) aged 5-10 with hockey equipment and the opportunity to enjoy instructional hockey sessions.
Full equipment is required for all Youth House League, Skill Clinic's, and Little Hawks/Learn to Play. Full sets of youth equipment can be purchased at the rink for $275 + tax.
